Death Valley

Kim and I went to Death Valley for the new year.   The weather was very pleasant, but I’d recommend going to Death Valley no later than March.   We stayed in Las Vegas for the first night, and then stayed in Death Valley Nation Park’s Furnace Creek Campground for 2 nights.  Another night was spent on the North end of the park after hiking around Ubuhebe Crater, and then a few nights in Marble Canyon, which was the highlight of the trip.  We finished up our trip with a night in Tecopa Springs – enjoying a much needed shower, a real bed and our own hot springs bath.

Here’s a few photos from the trip.  There are some 3D images in there, so if you have some of those red/cyan old-school 3D glasses laying around, be sure to put them on when you see them on the screen.  Some of the 3D turned out pretty cool.
